Suzanne W. Goldstone

COLEBROOK – Suzanne W. Goldstone, 83, passed away peacefully at home on September 14, 2025 on her late husband's birthday after a brief courageous battle. She was the loving wife of the late Albert O. Goldstone for 25 years. She was born January 3, 1942 in Hartford; the daughter of the late William and Martha (Scrivener) Willard. Suzanne was member of the Class of 1960, Northwestern Regional #7 in Winsted. Prior to retiring, she worked in manufacturing as a die-cast operator and later in shipping/receiving. Suzanne enjoyed knitting, cross-stitch, and sewing. She also enjoyed bird watching and never met an animal she did not like. She loved being home and spending time with her family. She is survived by her three children, Albert Goldstone, II and husband Peter Gutska of FL, Dr. Kate Goldstone and husband Gregory Porter of Colebrook and Melissa Goldstone of Colebrook; three grandchildren, Amy Gozemba and partner Paul Rodrigue of Terryville, Steele Porter and wife Michele of Colebrook and Garrett Porter of Colebrook; three great grandchildren, Cody Rice and Jaxon Rodrigue of Terryville, and Fallon Porter of Colebrook; sister, Dianne Willard of New Hartford; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and her sister in-laws. Friends may call on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted from 5 – 7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 at the funeral home in Winsted at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery, Colebrook.
