My Dearest Auntie Sylvia,
How lucky I have been, these near 66 years, to have known and loved you as my one and only godmother. I have ALWAYS felt so blessed by my Mom, Rosalie“s, choice of her best friend since the 1950s to be named my godmother. I have and see the many photos of you from that very day- cherishing them (and you) for the always kind, warm, intelligent and affable person you have been across my life.

The photos of you in crisp dark blue "dungarees" my Mom has from the 1950s shows a bright-eyed, beautiful woman with flair, and so happy. The photos of you and Uncle Fran boating with my mother and father- also from the 1950s and, perhaps, beyond, show the beauty and potency of all of you within a clear deep friendship.

My heart is full knowing how blessed you were and, though always so painful to lose a loved one, the fact that you are in heaven with your God and those whom you love and miss.

Blessings and prayers to your family during this difficult time.
