Theresa Sophia Boisvert

Theresa Sophia (Procaccini) Boisvert, 84, of New Britain, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, with her family by her side. Born on November 28, 1940, in Stamford, CT, Theresa was the treasured daughter of the late John and Sophia (Rogalski) Procaccini. From an early age, she carried a strong work ethic, a kind heart, and a gentle spirit-qualities that would define her life and the love she shared with those around her. For many years, Theresa proudly served with the U.S. Postal Service, where she was admired not only for her dedication but for the warmth and care she extended to coworkers and customers alike. Her ability to brighten even the busiest of days was a reflection of her genuine kindness and the respect she earned throughout her career. Outside of her work, Theresa embraced life with joy and creativity. She had a natural talent for crafting, often creating pieces that reflected her artistry and love. She enjoyed bowling, where she found both laughter and friendship, and she delighted in the fun of casino trips, especially her adventures in Las Vegas, where she made unforgettable memories. Her compassionate heart extended to animals, and throughout her life she gave a loving home to many pets who, in turn, gave her comfort and companionship. Above all, Theresa's greatest pride and joy was her family. She shared 58 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Raymond Boisvert, together building a home filled with laughter, faith, and love. She leaves behind her beloved daughter Tina Marie Garro and her husband John of CA, and her precious granddaughter, Amanda Givargiznia and her husband Jason of CA. Her love and wisdom will live on through them. Theresa is now reunited in eternal peace with her cherished daughter, Lisa Mange, and her vibrant grandson, Stephen Noreika, whose spirits she carried close to her heart each day. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Theresa's life and faith at a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 10:30 AM at St. Katherine Drexel Parish, St. Jerome Church, 1010 Slater Road, New Britain. Following the service, burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
