Thomas Trudeau Obituary

Thomas P. Trudeau, 78, of Bethel, CT and formerly of Westfield, MA, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 6, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Joan F. (Firtion) Trudeau. Thomas was born on June 8, 1946 in Springfield, MA, son of the late Frank and Gwen (Pritchard) Trudeau. He had resided in Bethel for the past 15 years and in Westfield, MA before that. Thomas served our country proudly with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era from 1968 to 1970. In his leisure time he loved fishing, corvettes, playing poker, Antiques and watching his grandkids play baseball. Besides his wife Joan, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Brian & Kristen Trudeau of Newtown, CT, and two cherished grandsons Tommy and Mikey Trudeau. Thomas is also survived by two sisters Barbara Trudeau of Vero Beach, FL and Wendy Trudeau of Stratford, CT, Besides, his parents he was predeceased by a brother Frank Trudeau and a sister Betsy Trudeau. Calling hours for Thomas will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 6:00 t0 8:00 pm at Browne Memorial Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, CT. Interment with military honors will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 12:00 pm in the New West Cemetery 439 Main St. Somers, CT. In lieu of flowers please consideration donating to Danbury Hospital, 24 Hospital Ave. Danbury, CT 06810 or Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516 Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
