Todd Raucci Obituary
Todd A. Raucci, 56, of Plainville, passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 7, 2025. He was the husband of the late Valerie (Kree) Raucci.
Born in Bristol on April 8, 1969, Todd was one of two sons of Ann Marie (Camerato) Raucci and Anthony R. Raucci, Jr. Raised and educated in Southington, Todd was a graduate of Southington High School, Class of 1987. He went on to build a successful career as a service technician, working in HVAC and most recently for Parker Industrial X-Ray Lab. Known for his strong work ethic and mechanical skill, Todd could fix just about anything and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need.
Todd shared 12 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Valerie. Together, they created countless memories traveling the world, especially on cruises, celebrating their wedding anniversary at sea each year. A man of many passions, Todd loved the simple joys in life. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider who cherished time on the open road, a lifelong and loyal Miami Dolphins fan (for better or worse), and a proud cat dad devoted to his feline companions. He enjoyed cooking, making homemade wine, fishing, gardening, and spending time outdoors. Music was always part of his life, especially classic rock legends like Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Todd was also known for his enthusiasm for fireworks, a passion he mischievously "shared" with his friends, family and neighbors. His sense of humor, generosity, and zest for life will be remembered by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he leaves his brother, Kevin Raucci, his wife Malina and their children, Leah and James, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends who were like family.
In lieu of flowers, Todd may be remembered with contributions to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center, 282 Washington St, Hartford, CT 06106 or at http://www.connecticutchildrens.org
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday October 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., meeting directly at St. Matthew Church, 120 Church Ave, Forestville. He will be laid to rest privately. The staff at Plainville Funeral Home extends their gratitude to the Raucci family for their trust. For online expressions of sympathy, please visit http://www.PlainvilleFuneralHome.com
