Victor Jara Obituary

Víctor Jara, de 67 años y residente de New Haven, falleció pacíficamente en su hogar el 29 de junio de 2025, rodeado de su esposa y familia. Nació el 2 de julio de 1957 en Ecuador, hijo de Víctor Jara y Clementina Sangurima. A Víctor le sobreviven su madre, Rosa Aucapina, con quien estuvo casada durante 21 años, residente de New Haven, junto con sus siete hijos: Jonathan Jara, residente de Cheshire; Brian Jara, residente de New Haven; Sheyla Jara, residente de New Haven; Edgar Jara, residente de Branford; Nancy Jara, residente de Ecuador; Fabián Jara, residente de East Haven; y Maira Jara, residente de Naugatuck; y nueve nietos. También le sobreviven sus hermanos: Germán Sangurima, residente de Ecuador; Celia Jara, residente de Ecuador; Jaime Jara, residente de Massachusetts; Sual Jara, residente de New Haven; Fanny Jara, residente de Ecuador; Oswaldo Jara, residente de East Haven; y María Jara, residente de Branford; junto con sus numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas. A Víctor le precedieron en la muerte su padre y hermanos: José Simgurima, Juan Jara y Leonor Jara. Víctor era muy querido. Su carácter cariñoso y comprensivo cautivaba a cualquiera. Pasaba sus días trabajando en casa o en su trabajo, que tanto amaba. Fue y siempre será recordado como un hombre trabajador. Su carácter siempre será admirado y servirá de ejemplo para sus seres queridos. Aunque ya no esté con nosotros, nos deja hermosos recuerdos. Sus hijos, esposa y hermanos siempre lo llevarán en sus corazones. La familia recibirá a sus amigos el sábado 5 de julio de 2025 desde las 14:00 hasta las 18:00 h en la Funeraria Clancy-Palumbo (Funeraria Clancy), Kirkham Ave., East Haven. El entierro se realizará en Ecuador. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Victor Jara, 67 Of New Haven passed away peacefully at home on June 29, 2025 surrounded by his wife and family. He was born July 2, 1957 in Ecuador to Victor Jara and Clementina Sangurima. Victor is survived by his mother, loving wife of 21 years, Rosa Aucapina of New Haven along with seven children; Jonathan Jara of Cheshire, Brian Jara of New Haven, Sheyla Jara of New Haven, Edgar Jara of Branford, Nancy Jara of Ecuador, Fabian Jara of East Haven and Maira Jara of Naugatuck and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings; German Sangurima of Ecuador, Celia Jara of Ecuador, Jaime Jara of MA. Sual Jara of New Haven, Fanny Jara of Ecuador, Oswaldo Jara of East Haven and Maria Jara of Branford along with numerous nieces and nephews. Victor is preceded in death by his father and siblings; Jose Simgurima, Juan Jara and Leonor Jara. Victor was loved by many. His loving and supportive demeanor would gravitate anyone. He spent his days working at home or at his job that he loved very much. He was and will always be remembered as a hardworking man. His character will always be admired and will lead as an example for his loved ones. Even though he's no longer with us. He leaves us with beautiful memories. His kids, wife and siblings will always hold him dearly in there hearts Family will receive friends on Saturday July 5, 2025 from 2 PM until the time of service at 6 PM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
