Walter Fisette

Walter J. Fisette, 90, of Manchester, beloved husband of the late Irene (Benson) Fisette, passed away on February 8, 2025. Born in Millbury, MA, he was the son of Arthur and Beatrice (Bourassa) Fisette. Walter was a retired member of the Navy and an engineer with Pratt and Whitney, and after his retirement and Irene's passing, took over ownership of The Craftsmen's Gallery, an antique shop, in downtown Manchester. He was a long-time communicant and deeply involved member of Church of the Assumption. He leaves behind his grandson Kyle Norman and his wife Jessica Calvo of Columbia, CT; and several members of the Fisette family, scattered across the country; along with his friend Karen Moore of Manchester who helped him run his store, and has since taken ownership. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 21, from 4-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday the 22nd at 10 a.m. at Church of the Assumption, 27 Adams Street S. in Manchester, followed by burial at East Cemetery.
