Willa McKenna Obituary

In Loving Memory of Willa "Jackie" McKenna (1949-2025) Willa "Jackie" McKenna, 76, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. A devoted nurse for the extent of her career, Jackie dedicated her life to caring for others- both in her profession and in her everyday life. She was a lifelong animal lover and an advocate for the less fortunate in her community, always offering a helping hand where it was most needed. Jackie's kindness, resilience, and generous spirit touched the lives of many. She will be remembered not only for what she did, but for how she made people feel - seen, heard, and loved. She is survived by her loving family, son Patrick McKenna and his partner Morgan Keegan, daughter Betsy Kyle and "son" Jason Kyle and her grandchildren Nolen and Zackery Kyle who were the light of her life. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Relatives and friends may attend a visitation on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 4 pm to 6 pm at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
