Wojciech Ferenc

Wojciech Ferenc, 75 of New Britain, beloved husband of Krystyna (Pacion) Ferenc, passed away at UConn Health Center on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Born in Nienadowa, Poland, son of the late Jan and Jozefa (Kazianko) Ferenc, he was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church in New Britain. Wojciech came to the US from Poland in 1991. A passionate, hardworking man, he enjoyed providing for his family. He took great pride in caring for his property and could always be found working with his hands. He was very handy and could fixed anything. Wojciech was very helpful to everyone and always took good care of people. He loved animals. He also loved music and dancing. His kind and compassionate heart will be missed by all who knew him. A loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother, he is survived by his beloved wife Krystyna of 52 years; his daughters: Iwona and Thomas Jablonski of Bristol, Izabela and Wojciech Kaminski-Sawicki of Southington, Ewelina and Darek Palewicz of Farmington; his grandchildren: Sebastian, Kasia, Ola, Olivia, Maya, Ania, Lukasz and Mirela; his great grandchildren: Aspen and Jackson; his brother: Leon and Elzbieta Ferenc of Poland; his sisters: Wiktoria Wolanska of Poland, Genowefa Fedyk of Middletown, Krystyna Tutak of Bristol, Wladyslawa Kuzio of New Britain and Janina and Krzysztof Szczepanek of Canada, and extended family members and friends in the US and Poland. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, June 2, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Burritt Hill, 332 Burritt St., New Britain. His funeral service will begin on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at Burritt Hill Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Church, New Britain.
