Cody Ryan Thomas

Cody Ryan Thomas, 34, of St. Louis, MO, passed away at 8:10 PM, Saturday, September 20, 2025, at his home. Private Graveside Services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra, MO. Cody was born on August 20, 1991, in Quincy, IL. Survivors include his parents Darrell and Dawn Conner of Palmyra, MO, brothers, Carson Thomas Conner of Palmyra, MO, Zachary Conner of Mendon, IL, grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Cody was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rudy Thomas. A graduate of Palmyra High School, Cody excelled in his studies, known by many as intelligent, analytical, and thoughtful in everything he did. He had a deep love for sports, especially cheering on his favorite basketball team, the North Carolina Tar Heels. Cody was also an avid collector of baseball and other sports cards-a hobby that reflected his attention to detail and passion for the game. When he wasn't watching or talking about sports, Cody found peace in the quiet moments spent fishing. Those who knew Cody will remember his intelligence, his easy-going nature, and his love for the simple joys in life. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
