Connie Thorn Obituary

Connie Sue Thorn, 77 of Keokuk, IA passed away Monday, March 31, 2025 at River Hills Village in Keokuk. She was born January 30, 1948 in Keokuk, IA to Fred and Esther (Steele) Thorn. Connie is survived by daughter Lori (Stacey) Branham, grandchildren Sydney (Karter) Branham, Henry (Kristin) Branham, Dalton (Aylssa) Branham, great grandsons Maddox, Owen, Octavius, Solly, Bo and Leo and great granddaughters Maisey, Loveyette and Raven. She is also survived by her brother Randy Thorn and sister in law Nancy Thorn, bonus family Mary, Jerry and Jakota McGee and Jordan and Laney Brooks and several nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Steve, Rick and Keith Thorn and her beloved dog Daisy. She had been employed by the Grand Lunch Café in Keokuk and later at the Lee County Home in Keokuk from 1978-2002. Connie was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and NASCAR fan and had been famous for yelling at the TV screen. She loved to spend time fishing, hanging out in the pool, playing solitaire and working word searches. She doted on her family every chance she got and loved to spend time with them. She was a very proud grandma and GG to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to Dementia Society of America.
