Danielle Renea Clark, 35, of Keokuk, IA, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026.
She was born January 10, 1991, in Carthage, IL, the daughter of William “Bill” and Donna Bender Clark.
Danielle had been employed by several companies over the years and most recently worked as a bartender.
Danielle was known for her creative spirit and kind heart. Her artistic talent was evident in everything she did, from her drawings to the tattoos she created, each one reflecting her unique perspective. She found peace and joy in horses, which she loved dearly.
She is survived by her mother, Donna Bender LaBonte (Leon) of Carthage, IL; one son, Dominiq Steele of Hamilton, IL; one daughter, Stella Keefe of Carthage, IL; a bonus son, Gavin Keefe of Keokuk; and one granddaughter, Amelia Miller. She is also survived by one brother, Lance Clark of Carthage, IL and her twin sister, Nicole Clark (Walter), of Carthage, IL; a bonus brother, Blake Gilbert; her grandmother, Donna Shuman Davidson; three nephews, Akadian Clark, Akillian Gilbert, and Wade Brand; two step-sisters, April Kelly (LaMar) and Amber Martins (Joey); one step-brother, Dustin LaBonte (Courtney) and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Clark, on March 2, 2020, grandparents, Richard Jackson Bender, Sr. and Robert and Dorothy Markey.
A Gathering of Remembrance will be held from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, February 7 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with the family meeting with friends at that time.
Memorials may be made to the family.
