Elizabeth Wilsey Obituary

Elizabeth Deanne Wilsey, age 59 passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, IL. She was born December 9, 1965, in Pittsfield, IL to Raymond D. and Clara S. Motley Williams. Deanne grew up and attended school in Barry, IL. She received her CNA certification shortly after high school and worked for a nursing home and later became a home health aide. Deanne enjoyed decorating for the holidays, spending time at family gatherings, and especially cherished time with her boys, who meant the world to her. She loved thrift stores and yard sales, always liked attending concerts, and was an avid animal lover who had pets most of her life. Deanne is survived by her mother, Clara Williams; sons, Dustin Christison and Tyler Clinging; grandchildren, Dawson Christison, Alyzabeth Christison and Maddyson Christison; and sisters, Megan Williams and Michele Lippincott. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Williams; and beloved dachshund, Toby. Cremation rites have been accorded, and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to be made to the family c/o Niebur Funeral Chapel. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com. Niebur Funeral Chapel in Barry is handling the arrangements.
