She was born September 19, 1945 in Monticello, KY to Welby Eugene and Ethyl Flora (Gregory) Bell. She Married Jerry Lee Friday Sr. on June 16, 1962 in Bushnell, IL. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2021.
Surviving is her oldest son Jerry (Stephanie) Friday Jr. of Colchester, IL; daughter, Lisa (Brent) Hart of Adair, IL; her youngest son, Marty (Janelle) Friday of Macomb, IL; 13 grandchildren, Chrystal, Amber, Shelby, Livia, Gracelyn, Dawson, Brittany, Dylan, Allison, Avenley, Aaron and Kayla; 8 great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Justin, Lillian, Harlow, Jace, Charlotte, Hope and Wilder: siblings, Bonnie Powell, Laurie Ramos, Randy Bell, Diane Essex, Peggy Swigart, Roger, Kenny, Glenn, Glenna and Connie Greory.

Alice loved God, her family, going to church, coffee, the color purple and shopping! She enjoyed Sunday dinners with her family and the occasional Tuesday/Wednesday night supper with family and friends. Alice was quiet, but strong and could always be counted on to be there for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She and Jerry would be there to pray for you or to open their home if you needed a place to stay. She came to Illinois as a young teen and met and married the love of her life, Jerry, after a short, two-week engagement that lasted 62 years.
To honor her life and memory, she would request that you take time out to visit your family and truly value the time with the ones you love.
