Jill Land Obituary

Jill Land Obituary Jill D. Land, 81, of Warsaw, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy. Jill was born February 2, 1944, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Wesley and Jessie (Jones) Van Ausdall. She attended Carthage High School, graduating in 1962 and then went to receive her bachelors degree in business administration. On February 13, 2000, she was united in marriage to Lester Land in Warsaw. Jill had been active in the Cancer Society and served as an advocate against domestic violence against women. Jill is survived by her husband, Lester, of Warsaw; children, Wesley (Danielle) Sansom of Tucson, Arizona, Sean Rose of Jacksonville, Illinois, Dustin Masterson of Keokuk and Caleb Land of Hamilton; grandchildren, Brittany and Logan, Kyle and Adyn and Lucas; and five great grandchildren and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Barb Masterson; and a sister, Fern "Penny" Haage. Family will meet friends from 9:00 11:00 AM Friday, June 20, 2025, at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw at a later date. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Printy Funeral Home of Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
