John Robert "J.R." Schlinkman

John Robert 'J.R.' Schlinkman, age 63, of Quincy, formerly of Ft. Myers, FL, died on Friday, October 24, 2025 in his home. He was born on March 17, 1962 in Quincy to John & Minnie (Harsell) Schlinkmann. J.R. was a graduate of Quincy High School. While in Ft. Myers, he owned and operated a pool cleaning service and pool supply company. He loved fishing and sports. He is survived by: HIS BROTHER: Michael Schlinkmann and his wife Chris Wiewel of Quincy. HIS NEPHEW: Stephen Schlinkmann BROTHER IN LAW: Jim Williamson. Aunt Beverly Schlinkman, Cousins Debbie Caspermeyer and Mark Schlinkman. J. R. was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Leslie Williamson, uncles Paul D. Schlinkman and Robert Schlinkmann. Cremation rites will be accorded and no formal services are planned at this time. Memorials may be made to the Huntington's Disease Society. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
