Lisa Tingley Obituary

Lisa T. Tingley 61 of Plymouth, Illinois passed away at her home on November 14, 2024. She was born August 28, 1963, in Arlington Heights, Illinois, to Norbert and Janet (Petersen) Ernst. From 1972 to 1977 she lived in Norway where she learned to speak Norwegian and ski. After moving back to the States she graduated from Kaneland High School in Maple Park, IL and later attended Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois. She relocated to Plymouth where she lived the rest of her life. Lisa married Gregory R. Tingley on July 24, 1993 and he proceeded her in death on April 9, 2017. Lisa loved life on the ridge, especially with friends, music and something to drink. Lisa enjoyed Law and Order SVU, mushroom hunting, the great outdoors and lounging in her pool on hot summer days. Lisa is survived by her mother Janet (Petersen) Ernst and her two brothers Kurt Ernst and Justin Ernst. Cremation Rites were accorded by Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home. Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the McDonough County Humane Society.
