Michael Polak Obituary
Michael Allan Polak, 57 of Williamstown, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 4:47 PM at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois surrounded by his family.
He was born on April 29, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Richard L. and Nikki (Bray) Polak.
He spent his early childhood years growing up in Chicago until moving to Oak Lawn, Il. for his teenage years. Mick had a big heart and was a fun loving guy. Always the life of the party. He really enjoyed watching the NFL-big BEARS fan. He was an avid Chicago White Sox fan as well as a Chicago Cubs fan. Probably what he loved the most about Chicago was its food. Pizza, burritos & Italian beef sandwiches. He was a big weight lifter, great roller skater and enjoyed his cars.
Mike and Eileen Polak moved to Missouri in 2008 with their daughter, Kaitlyn and in 2009 had a son, Richie. These two children were a blessing in his life and he loved them both very much. He enjoyed watching Richie play baseball, for Complete Game Baseball in Quincy and on his High School team here in Canton. He was baptized as a Catholic but was raised in the Christian faith.
He is survived by a daughter, Kaitlyn Polak (Cody Davis) of Canton, Mo.; a son, Richie Polak of Williamstown, Mo.; his parents, Rich (Patty) Polak, Sr. of Williamstown, Mo.; a brother, Rich (Sarah) Polak, Jr. of Quincy, Il.; a sister, Marci (Ben) Fitzpatrick of Centralia, Mo.; three nephews, Joey (Bailey) Polak of Lake St. Louis, Mo., Drezden & Milo Fitzpatrick of Centralia, Mo.; two nieces, Casey (Steven) Duval of Westlake, Fl. and Jennie Polak of Boynton Beach, Fl.; his grandmother, Patsy Murphy of Williamstown, Mo.; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, former wife, Eileen Polak, his grandparents, Gene & Nora Polak, Rose Bray, all of Chicago and Bill Murphy of Williamstown, and several aunts & uncles.
