Nathan Farlow Obituary
Nathan Louis Farlow, 59, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on October 17, 2025. Born in Buford, Georgia, on June 8, 1966, Nathan spent his life fixing, and improving just about everything and everyone around him.
Nathan was the proud owner of Glass & More, where he became well known throughout the community for his reliability, and larger-than-life personality. His career began sewing buttons for his father's glass company until he realized he could install glass better than his dad (and wasn't afraid to prove it). With that realization, he struck out on his own and built a business that reflected his hard work, skill, and good humor.
Nathan was also a graduate of Gainesville College, where he earned his Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, and went on to attend a few semesters at the University of Georgia. An experience that helped deepen his lifelong and unshakable love for Georgia Bulldogs football. Game days were sacred to Nathan. Win or lose, he cheered for his Dawgs with full enthusiasm (and usually a few loud opinions about the coaching).
In between glass jobs, Nathan worked for several car dealerships where he somehow managed to learn enough to become the family's resident mechanic. If something had an engine, Nathan could fix it - usually with a laugh, a story, and maybe a few leftover bolts "just in case."
For the past 15 years, Nathan shared his life with his devoted partner Jennifer Dewhirst, whose love and support were with him through every adventure.
Nathan was preceded in death by his father Frank Louis Farlow and his mother Patricia Cutshaw Inwood.
He is survived by his loving partner Jennifer Dewhirst; his son Beren Farlow (Erin) and daughter Allisan Farlow (Lee), both of Hoschton, GA; and his bonus daughters Jessica Mills (Micah) of Dahlonega, GA, Rachel Bond, and Katie Anne Dewhirst of Gainesville, GA. He was the proud "Grumpa" to his grandchildren Beau Farlow, Briggs Farlow, Vallee Mills, Bentley Busbee, and Bodie Bond, who brought him immeasurable joy. Nathan's love for his family, especially his grandchildren, was boundless. His eyes would light up whenever he spoke of them, and he cherished every moment he spent with them.
Nathan is also survived by his best friend who was like a sister, Stephanie Neese Kirk of DeBary, FL, and countless other cherished friends.
Those who knew Nathan will remember him for his quick wit, generous heart, and of course, his hilarious Facebook posts. They never failed to bring a smile or a laugh. His posts were a daily highlight, and anyone who followed them knew they could count on a good laugh and a glimpse into his ever-present humor and lighthearted outlook on life.
Nathan's laughter, kindness, and dedication to those he loved, especially his family, will be deeply missed but forever cherished. As he enters heaven, we know his mom is waiting for him with a Drumstick ice cream cone in hand because to her, no one was ever too old for a treat. He lived life on his own terms, and his legacy of hard work, humor, and love for family and friends will continue to inspire those who knew him.
