Patricia A "Patti" Sobotka

Patricia Ann Sobotka, age 74 of Forked River passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Patricia was born in Jersey City moving to Forked River in 1977. She graduated from Dickerson High School in Jersey City. Patti started working for Western Electric and then moved forward with each merger to Verizon after 32 years, She retired in 2002. She was a member of Bell System Pioneers. Patti was a communicant of St. Pius the Tenth Roman Catholic Church. Her favorite place to go was Atlantic City.
Patricia is survived by her siblings Peter Sobotka and his wife Kathy and Dorothy "Pinky" Cassella and her husband Allen. She is also survived by many loving family and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025 from 10-11am at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 Route 9, Forked River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30am at St. Pius X RC Church, 300 Lacey Road, Forked River followed by interment at Good luck Cemetery, Hanes Street, Lanoka Harbor. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Patti's name.
