Steven Coffey

Steven Coffey, 68, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 3:24 PM, Tuesday, October 7, 2025, in Hannibal, MO. The family will host a Life Celebration at a later date. Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Steven was born January 19, 1957, in Hannibal, MO to Joseph Edward Coffey and Florence Thompson Coffey. He was married to Brenda K. Webb on October 23, 1976, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Palmyra, MO. She survives. Other survivors include his three children, Jeremiah Steven Coffey (Heather) of Hannibal, MO, Wendy Marie Largent (Carl) of Hannibal, MO, and Robert Coffey (Tracy) of Hannibal, MO; two brothers, Paul Coffey (Gina) of Hannibal, MO, and Kevin Coffey of Hannibal, MO; two sisters, Loretta Zimmerman of Quincy, IL, and Carol Lockwood (Keith) of Hannibal, MO; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Steven was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Joe Coffey, Jerry Coffey, and William Coffey Sr.; two sisters, Marie Kurz, and Christine Fulton; and special great niece, Kimberly Ladawn Kurz. Steven retired from LaGrange Foundry where he was a production worked and loaded coal barges. He previously worked at Prince Manufacturing in the Quincy Barge Terminal. An avid outdoorsman, Steven spent countless hours camping, fishing on the Mississippi River and in the woods where he loved to hunt deer and rabbit. Steven enjoyed watching westerns, especially Bonanza, and loved anything science and archeology related. Hosting bonfires and wiener roasts, and spending time with his family during holiday gatherings brought Steven great joy. He took pride in the moments spent making memories with his family and friends. Steven will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Steven was Christian by faith.
