Sue Vicker Obituary

Sue A. Vicker, 84, of Ft. Madison, IA, passed away at 7:50 PM on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Birkwood Village in Ft. Madison. She was born on March 17, 1941 in Burlington to Roland and Veronica Clement Riddle. On May 23, 1964 she married Jack Vicker in Ft. Madison . Sue was a homemaker most of her life, in her early years she was a bookkeeper at Tri State Dairy. Sue enjoyed sewing and loved animals, especially dogs and her cats. She was very witty and enjoyed visiting and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Jack Vicker of Ft. Madison; one son, Dennis (Dagmar) Vicker of Fuerth, Germany; two grandchildren, Dillon Vicker and Daphne (Marvin) Turbanisch of Fuerth, Germany; one great granddaughter, Emily; two brothers, Dan (Jeannie) Riddle of Montrose and Tim (Keri) Riddle of Osceola, IA; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will meet with friends from 12:30-1:30 PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with a graveside service to follow immediately at Soldiers' Circle, Oakland Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Metcalf officiating. A memorial has been established for PAW Animal Shelter and online condolences may be left at www.kinglynk.com
