Tami M. Kreps

Tami M. Kreps 64 of Macomb, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025 at Genesis Medical Center in Silvis, Illinois. Tami was born March 18, 1961, in Macomb to John and Thelma Stoneking Kreps. Surviving to mourn her passing are 2 sons: Jesse Frakes, Burnside, Illinois, T.J. Parker, Houston, Texas, 2 daughters Rainie Barnes, Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, Jenna Parker, Chattanooga, Tennessee, 2 grandchildren: Jarrett Frakes, Laken Frakes, 3 sisters: Sue (Mike) Behan, Macomb, Sharol (Jim) Ryan, Cameron, Illinois, Sheila (Bill) Day Abington, Illinois, her 3 fur babies: Jitter bug, Diesel, Oakie and many nieces and nephews along with many friends. Tami was preceded in death by her parents, her loving partner for many years, Tommy Parker, whom preceded her in death on November 25, 2013. Tami was the owner / manager at Medical Financial Services in Macomb. She also took great pride in her work at McDonough District Hospital. Tami worked hard and had a profound joy for her work, her whole life. She enjoyed watching NASCAR, getting her nails done, taking country cruises, storm chasing, traveling, especially to the beach. She also enjoyed watching crime scene movies and TV shows. But most of all she enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, her world famous meatloaf, broccoli cheese casserole, and biscuits and gravy. Tami was always the first to lend a hand to everyone that was in her life. Most of all Tami loved her fur babies, her family and her unsweetened Iced Tea with 3 sugars. Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held at the Macomb American Legion at a later date. Memorial has been set up for her grandchildren's education fund. They can be sent to the family given at the Celebration of Life or sent to Jones Funeral Chapel or dropped off at the funeral home. Jones Funeral Chapel in Colchester is assisting the family.
