Virgil D. Majors, 88, of Hannibal, MO, passed away at 2:59 AM, Sunday, July 6, 2025, at his home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, July 14, 2025, at James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, at the funeral home. Rev. Tim Goodman will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, MO. Virgil was born April 18, 1937, in Hannibal, MO to Clayton Majors and Vina Lowe Majors. He was married to Wanda Kinsey on August 15, 1964. She preceded him in death on September 22, 2008. Survivors include his five children, Debra Ewing of Hannibal, MO, Marianne Sapp of Hannibal, MO, Joyce Burkhart of Hannibal, MO, Tony Hills of Hannibal, MO, and Doug Majors (Vivian) of New Braunfels, TX; two brothers, Roger Majors (Linda) and Bill Majors (Carol); eight grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Virgil was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters; and one daughter, Connie Woodrow. Virgil retired from Bleigh Ready Mix where he spent many years as a concrete truck driver. Virgil was a simple man. He enjoyed occasionally visiting the casino to play the slots and loved his trucks. Most of all, he treasured his family and their time spent together.
