Albert Martell Obituary

GROVELAND – Albert H. Martell, 87, passed away on September 20, 2025 at home with his wife Judy and his cat Patches by his side. He was the son of the late Howard and Margaret (Sullivan) Martell. Al graduated from Haverhill Trade School, Class of 1957 and served honorably for four years in the Navy. He spent most of his career as a foreman for Craig Systems in Amesbury, formerly of Lawrence. Al rode his motorcycle until he was 80, and he loved the Patriots and all football. Al leaves his wife of 40 years, Judith (McGowan) Martell of Groveland, his son Scott Martell of Groveland, his daughter Lynn and her husband Maurice Demers of Chester, NH, and three step children Jeffrey and his wife Jennifer Parino of Sandown, NH, Melissa and her husband Andrew Gates of Plaistow, NH and Mark Parino of Haverhill. He was affectionately known as B to his 3 beloved grandchildren Brian and his wife Leanna, Matthew, and Jessica Parino that he also leaves behind; and many nieces and nephews. Al was predeceased by his sister Shirley Paulino and nephews Robert Martell and William Bailey. Honoring Al's wishes, there are no services. In his memory owe a kindness or two.
