Annette Schloth Obituary
Atkinson, NH: Annette I. (Poulin) Schloth, 91, of Atkinson, died peacefully at her home on Sunday morning, June 9, 2024.
Born, raised and educated in Haverhill, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Odelie (Lagasse) Poulin. She attended Saint Joseph Grammar School and was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1949.
Annette first worked at Mitchell's Department Store in downtown Haverhill and later as a hostess at the former Sawyer's Restaurant in Plaistow and finally retired from Lucent Technologies in 1997.
A former longtime resident of Kingston, NH and Haverhill, MA, she was a member of All Saints Parish (the former Saint Joseph Parish). Following her retirement, she immersed herself in volunteer work for her parish, which included helping to maintain the cleanliness of the church, assisting in teaching CCD and working in the Thrift Shop. She also volunteered for the St. Vincent de Paul Societies of All Saints and Saint James Parish and at the Hannah Dustin Healthcare facility.
A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Annette took great strength from her faith and attended daily Mass at her church or at St. Anne Church of Hampstead, NH and Holy Angels Church of Plaistow, NH. She enjoyed cooking for her family and creating a warm and inviting home for her children and their families.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters, Linda M. Little and her husband Douglas, of Marshfield, MA, and Karen M. Schloth of Atkinson; two sons, William M. J. Schloth, Jr. and his wife Roxanne, of Hampstead, and David M. Schloth of Merrimac, MA, a daughter-in-law Patricia Schloth of Haverhill; ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins. She was predeceased in 2021 by her son Steven R. Schloth, and also by her sister and brother-in-law, Cecile and Emile Morin, and her brother-in-law and his wife Richard and Arline Schloth, by her former husband, William "Red" Schloth and a niece Andrea DeSpirito.
Relatives and friends are invited to Annette Schloth's Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Monday, June 17, 2024 at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill. Donations in her name may be made to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, 120 Bellevue Ave, Haverhill, MA 01832.
