Anthony Brown Obituary

Anthony James "AJ" Brown, 33, of Windham, NH, and formerly of Haverhill, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 4, 2025. Born in Haverhill on February 13, 1992, he was the son of Joseph P. Brown and Cheryl A. Amodio. AJ was educated in the Haverhill Public Schools and graduated from Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School with the Class of 2010. He later earned his associate's degree from Northern Essex Community College and continued to complete his CDL from New England Tractor Trailer School. AJ proudly served as the number one fuel delivery representative at Eastern Propane, a role he took great pride in. He truly loved his job and the people he worked with; his coworkers were more than just colleagues; they were a second family to him. He found real fulfillment in the work he did each day and the relationships he built there. AJ was a passionate sports fan, especially when it came to cheering on his beloved Denver Broncos, Miami Hurricanes, or the Boston Celtics. He also found joy in the outdoors, whether hiking a mountain trail or casting a line while fishing. He had a deep love for music and cherished the energy of live concerts. AJ will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, generous heart, and the way his smile would light up any room. He is predeceased by his grandfather and hero, James Amodio, whom he deeply admired, and his brother, Robert Brown. In addition to his parents, he is survived his brother, Tyler Brown of Haverhill; his 2 grandmothers Gail Amodio (Nana) and Regina Brown. AJ also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and coworkers who will miss him dearly. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend AJ's visitation on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer Street, Haverhill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in AJ's memory to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), an organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by mental health challenges.
