Beverly Weir Obituary
Beverly (Blunt) Weir, born June 28, 1937, died on December 11, 2024 at the age of 87.
She was born and lived her entire life in Newburyport. She was the daughter of the late Sam and Exilda Blunt.
She is survived by her son, Hugh Weir, Jr. and his wife Denise; son-in-law, John Miller; daughter-in-law, Karin Weir; sisters, Harriet Sanuk and Suzanne Casey; as well as nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Hugh Weir; daughter, Robin Miller; son, Craig Weir; brothers, Sam, Buddy, and Gene Blunt, along with a sister, Barbara Sostak.
A private Graveside Service will be held in Spring of 2025, when Beverly will be laid to eternal rest at the Sawyer Hill Burial Grounds, beside her beloved husband, Hugh Weir. Arrangements were by Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA 01913.
