Donald Bodwell Obituary

Donald R. Bodwell, 74, husband of Marilyn (Clark) Bodwell of Haverhill passed away on September 28, 2025 at Lawrence General Hospital. Donald was born in Newburyport to Laurence and Dorothy (Russell) Bodwell and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1969. He worked for many years as an auto mechanic and as a delivery driver for Caps Auto Parts. Donald was also a car enthusiast and NASCAR racing fan. He enjoyed a simple life, spending time with several friends, and he cherished his family. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Donald is survived by his wife Marilyn (Clark) Bodwell, and his daughter Sherri Bodwell, both of Haverhill. He is also survived by his brother Albert Bodwell of Spring Lake, NC and his sister Debra Bodwell of Hampton, NH; and grandchildren Brendan Bodwell, Khyle Bodwell, Alessandria Bodwell, Alyannah McCarthy and Ryan McRae and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Lois, Anna Mae, Laurence, Jr., and Leslie. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, October 4 th from 3PM until 5PM followed by a funeral home chapel service at 5PM at the Kevin B.
