Leroy Hines Obituary
Leroy was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina on June 2, 1942 and was the son of Leroy Edwards and Hazel Hines. Leroy was raised and educated in North Carolina's public schools. After moving to Bradford he worked for Western Electric and then Raytheon for many years as a security guard. He enjoyed golfing at Crystal Lake Golf Club in Haverhill, where he worked as a Groundskeeper; and Leroy was also an avid fisherman, traveling to Alaska to fish for wild salmon.
A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Leroy is survived by his son Stephen B. Hines of Haverhill, his daughter Inez Marie Hines of Orlando, FL, and his former wife Dorothy (Gordon) Hines of Bradford. He also leaves behind two grandchildren Antonio Rivera and DeAndre Hines. Leroy was predeceased by a son Leroy E. Hines, Jr.

It was an honor and a privilege to call him my friend. I will miss seeing his smiling face and talking to him remembering our adventures while working at Western Electric. Rest in Peace, my friend, you earned it.
