Lyn C. Hamilton

PLAISTOW, NH – Lyn passed away on 8/13/2025 at 10:30pm with me holding her hand. In her last 24 hours she went from waking up and quietly asking for cranberry juice, lime sherbet or water every couple of hours, as she did at 10pm the previous evening and asking for sherbet except for the first time she asked me to feed it to her. Up until that time she would take the half full glass of juice or water with a straw, or dish of sherbet with a spoon and eat it. After midnight she could not talk, although she seemed to be trying to, did not open her eyes, and was unable to even swallow a drop of water placed into her mouth. My wonderful and loving wife Lyn's wish was to be cremated after passing. I promised Lyn that I would lovingly keep her ashes and make arrangements for my cremated ashes after passing, to be mixed with hers and buried at the cemetery where her parents, grandparents, Aunt Joyce, and other family members have been laid to rest in Connecticut. Her wishes were also to not put our family members and dear friends through the anguish of attending calling hours, or the guilt of not attending because of distance, health or other obligations. As in life, Lyn has always put others before herself. Lyn and I had a wonderful 59 year marriage that I will cherish the rest of my life.
