Marion L. Branden

Marion Louise Branden of Groveland, MA, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, at the Haverhill Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.
Marion was a lifelong resident of Groveland before her recent stay in Haverhill. She was born in Jamaica Plain, Boston, on January 28, 1935, and was educated within the Groveland school system. She was a member of the final graduating class of Groveland High School in 1953.
She worked at Woolworth's, the Internal Revenue Service, and later at Pentucket Junior High School, where she was a much-loved "lunch lady." She was a dedicated member of the Groveland Garden Club and a past president. She loved gardening and spent countless hours tending to her yard and flowers.
She was predeceased by her husband, Warren L. Branden, who passed away in 2011, and by her son-in-law, Malcolm D. Kimball, Jr.
Marion is survived by her three daughters, Joanne Kimball and her late husband, Malcolm Kimball, Jr., and Linda Locke, both of Haverhill, and Lisa (Landers) Komola and her husband, Frank Komola, of Michigan (formerly of Haverhill). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren and their families: Jeff and Adrienne Locke and their children Branden and Jackson; Greg and Allyson Locke and their daughter Zoe; Craig Kimball; Chad and Paige Kimball and their children Nora and Grant; and Dana (Landers) and Robert Kendall and their children Mary and Julia.
By request of the family, there will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Bradford~Haverhill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Haverhill Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, 126 Monument Street, Haverhill, MA 01832.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to family friend Mary Jane Praiano and Marion's caring team, especially McDonald and Sandra, for their kindness and compassion.
