Auburn, NH: Patricia Ann (Glavin) Goudreault, affectionately known by her family as "Patti" and "Gigi," of Auburn, NH, passed away on September 5th, after a brief but courageous health battle.
Born in Haverhill, Patti grew up in Groveland and graduated from Pentucket Regional Senior High School. Following that, Patti graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fitchburg State University in 1973, where she earned a degree in Psychology. Soon after, she began her 40 year career at Social Security Administration where she met many friends, before proudly retiring at the age of 62.
Patti met the love of her life, David, on a blind date. They married, and until her death, rarely spent time apart. She was an amazing mother to her two daughters, Jessica and Chelsey. It was clear she valued her marriage and motherhood greatly. She was always available to offer advice, gentle counsel, and guidance. That integrity and wisdom became invaluable to her family and friends. There was rarely a time Patti was unprepared for an event, holiday, or change in plans. She could always be counted on to solve a problem with ease.
Patti took particular joy watching her grandsons' sporting events. Though never boisterous, she was the proudest grandparent at every game. In addition, she cherished time with her family and friends. She found happiness in life's quiet pleasures, the companionship of her beloved cats, the challenge of a difficult puzzle, watching and supporting Boston sports teams, 45's card games, enjoying going out to restaurants, and trying her luck at the casino slots. It is safe to say she lived her life to the fullest.
In addition to her devoted husband, David, Patti leaves behind two daughters, Jessica Farley and her husband Craig Farley of Marlborough MA, and Chelsey Sentkowski and her husband Timothy Sentkowski of Auburn, NH, whom she loved with all her heart. She also leaves four adoring grandsons: Mason, Max, Nolan and Beckett. Patti is also survived by her loving sister Mary "Betty" Guertin and her husband Edward Guertin, of Bradford, MA, and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Pattii's Life Celebration to be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street,
