Vincent J. Rousseau

PLAISTOW, NH – It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Vincent John Rousseau, age 65, who passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Vinny was a 1977 graduate of Pentucket Regional High School. He was gifted with a natural talent for art. His artistic talent led him to follow in his father's footsteps as a highly accomplished master craftsman. His favorite artist was Vincent Van Gogh, and his favorite painting was Starry Night. He worked for himself under the name of Vin Van Go Master Craftsman, building and renovating homes. He was known for his expert finish carpentry–especially his custom-built-ins, furniture, staircases, and mantels. He took great pride in renovating their family home. Vinny's hobbies included golfing, fishing, camping, motorcycling, coin collecting, clocks, classic cars, bicycling, and hiking. He and Kim enjoyed many years cheering on their sons in baseball, football, wrestling, and lacrosse during their school years. He cherished his time spent golfing with his close friend Jeff Johnson and camping and fishing with his lifelong best friend, Kevin Sayers. He was also a longtime friend of Bill W. Vinny is survived by his loving wife of 37 years (together for 47 years), Kim Rousseau (Jenkins); his two sons Jonathan and Kyle Rousseau; siblings Kathy Rowe and her husband, David, Michelle Gariepy and her husband, Richard, Carol Shaw, John Rousseau, and Barbara Buzzell as well as many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends, all of whom he loved dearly. Vinny was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Barbara Rousseau; and his father in-law Ralph Jenkins, Jr. ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, June 20 from 4PM until 7PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Burial is private.
