He dedicated his time to Common Ground Ministries serving the homeless, providing medical transport to the elderly, tending to the gardens and grounds of his church. He was also a frequent visitor to the Penacook Nursing Home and others too offering prayer and comfort to the residents. Most of all though, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. William was predeceased by his wife Cathy M. (Sargent) Bixby in 2006 and his sons Mark A. and Scott Bixby. He is survived by his children, Debbie M. (Wheeler) Willis and her husband David A. of Hampton, NH, Tammy L. Ogren and her husband Derek of Billerica, Ma, Lee M.
