My mother from Wisconsin spent many winters here as a Winter Texan. My mother met Alice as they both attended daily mass. During one of those winters, my father became very ill down here. Alice was wonderfully supportive to my Mom. I later became a second generation Winter Texan and connected with Alice. I so enjoyed our conversations over several years. She was a memorable person!
