Chester Fusselman Obituary

Chester L. "Chet" Fusselman, age 81, of Sunset Home, died on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, in Sunset Home. Chet was born on March 26, 1943, in Hadley Township, Pike County, IL the son of William C. and Telitha E. (Smith) Fusselman. He married Linda Coulson on July 8, 1967, at Union United Church. She preceded him in death on September 13, 2014.

Chet was a car detailer at Pruitt's and then Gem City Ford. He was a man who enjoyed his home and daily routine. Chet loved his turquois blue "57 Chevrolet and was an auto enthusiast.

He is survived by a special niece, Carol Holbrook and many other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; four sisters-in-law, Judy Hibbert, Henrietta (Wayne) Gallaher, Teena Fusselman and Pat Fusselman; and brother-in-law, Richard Hibbert.

Chet was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers, Gene Fusselman and Bill Fusselman, a sister, Wanda Dunn.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association. Messages may be shared online at www.dukerandhaugh.com.
