Daniel "Danny" Joseph Logsdon, 82 of LaGrange, Missouri passed away Monday, October 3, 2022, at his home in rural LaGrange.
The son of Harry "Pat" and Hilda Ellison Logsdon was born on December 7, 1939, at St. Patrick, Missouri.
He was united in marriage to Sharon Wood on May 27, 1961, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in LaGrange, Missouri.
Danny was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Canton and the LaGrange Lions Club. He was a lifelong farmer and he also operated Logsdon's 66 in LaGrange and worked at the LaGrange Foundry and Mark Twain Casino. He liked hunting, gardening and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Logsdon of LaGrange, Mo,; eight children, Wayne Logsdon of Canton, Mo., Tracy (Michael) Stauffer of LaGrange, Mo., Angela K. Logdson of Holly Hills, Fl., Kelly (Kim) Logsdon of LaGrange, Mo., Tony Logsdon of LaGrange, Mo., Gina Logsdon (David Cowart) of Holly Hills, Fl., Nick (Holly) Logsdon of Lewistown, Mo. and Lucas Logsdon & fiancé, Amy Wilson of LaGrange, Mo.; eleven grandchildren, Lance Genenbacher, Amber (Cody) Moore, Cara Genenbacher (Blake Price), Wyatt Logsdon, Brayden Logsdon, Eva Logsdon, Alayna Logsdon, Erica Crawford, Megan Tanner, Dustin Tanner and Kyler (Allie) Garkie; six great-grandchildren, Aiden Crawford, Paisley Garkie, Avery Garkie, Taylee Tanner, Emma Tanner and Wade Price; brother, Jerry (Patty) Logsdon of LaGrange, Mo.; sister in law, Vera Logsdon of Bushnell, Il.; and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Georgia Richter, Mary Jean Schroeder and Patsy Johnston, and four brothers, Mick, Jim, Ronald and David Logsdon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Canton, Missouri led by Father Callistus Okoroji. Burial will be in LaGrange Memorial Cemetery at LaGrange, Missouri.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5 until 8 PM with a prayer service at 4:30 PM at Arnold's Funeral Home in Canton, Missouri.
Memorials may be made to LaGrange Lions Club or the donor's choice.
Pallbearers: Wayne Logsdon, Tracy Stauffer, Angela Logsdon, Kelly Logsdon, Tony Logsdon, Gina, Logsdon, Nick Logsdon and Lucas Logsdon.
Honorary Pallbearers: Jerry Logsdon, Pat Logsdon, Todd Logsdon, Bud Stahl, Tim Schienhost, Bob Kaylor and Charlie Mike Bringer.
