Diane Ahern, 86, of Quincy, IL, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 5:11 AM, at Blessing Hospital.
Diane was born March 18, 1935 in Quincy to Harvey C. and Alberta (Heine) Ahern. She graduated from Quincy High School in 1953. Diane sold real estate and insurance and enjoyed drawing and painting.
Survivors include two daughters, Tracy (Mike) Lawrence and Penny (Aron) Herr, both of Quincy; three granddaughters, Breanne (John) Meyers of Leavenworth, KS, Kylene Herr (Austin Gregg) of St. Louis, MO, and Alane Herr of Springfield, IL; and four great-grandchildren, Ava, William, Logan, and Vivienne Meyers.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Cedarhurst Memory Care for the excellent care and support they gave Diane during her stay.
Diane gifted her body to the A.T. Still University of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO.
There will be no services at this time.
The family is being served by the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home in Quincy, IL.

So sorry to hear of passing of Diane. I am a cousin of her. Her Mom and my Dad were brother and sister. Been a long time since seeing her or hearing from her.
