Gregory Kirk Andresen, 62, of Quincy, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 6, 2025, surrounded by family.
Born October 5, 1963, in Marshall, MO to William and Carolyn Ritchie Andresen, Greg graduated from Palmyra High School in 1982, and married Tammy Speckhart in Taylor, MO on April 24, 1985. She survives.
Greg built a life defined by integrity, loyalty, and a love for people. For 13 years, he was the proud owner of Ron's Tire, later known as Quincy Tire Pros, where every job mattered and every customer was family.
With gasoline in his veins and a soft spot for speed, Greg loved the roar of a fast car or a day at the drag strip. When the engines quieted, you could find him working puzzles and listening to outlaw country and oldies rock, the soundtrack of a life lived on his own terms.
More than anything, Greg will be remembered for his big heart and helping hand. He never hesitated to lend support to friend, neighbor, or stranger in need, expecting nothing in return. His presence will be deeply missed, but his kindness, laughter, and love will never be forgotten.
In addition to his wife, Tammy, Greg is survived by his children, Shaun and Scott of Quincy, and Allison Taylor (Andy) of Palmyra, MO. Other survivors include his grandchildren, Brody and Jackson Andresen of Quincy, and Natalie Arnold and Hannah Taylor of Palmyra; one brother, Ron (Kim) Andresen; a nephew, William (Jen) Andresen of Quincy, and niece Camra (Dale) Begley of Palmyra. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation: 4:00 - 7:00 pm, Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home. Following the visitation, Greg will be cremated per his wishes. Friends and family are encouraged to attend this visitation as no other services are planned.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made to Quincy Public Library. Memorial Donations may be made online at
