John Raymond Kincaid III, age 29, of Quincy, IL, formerly of Knox County, MO left his earthly home on April 9, 2025, to be welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus where we long to reunite someday in heaven.
John was born January 6, 1996, in Quincy, IL, the son of Melanie Richelle (Rimer) and John Raymond Kincaid II.
John was known for his kind heart, loyalty to family and friends and his steadfast reliability. He lived his life with purpose and compassion, impacting everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
John graduated from Knox County High School in 2014 where he was active in FFA, Trapshooting and Band. He attended Moberly Area Community College and completed his CDL training at John Wood Community College in Quincy, IL.
John worked for several years at C & R Market in Edina and Hy-Vee in Quincy, IL. John was presently employed over the last six years with Sharkey Transportation in Quincy, IL. John was a member of Quail Forever, enjoyed traveling and target shooting. An avid sci-fi and comic enthusiast, John loved traveling across the country to attend conventions. He was baptized in the Edina Assembly of God Church and lived a life based on his strong Christian principles and his desire to be of service to others.
John is survived by his mother Melanie Richelle Kincaid of Edina, MO, his father and step mother John Raymond (Shanna) Kincaid II of Quincy, IL, his grandmother Carol Ann Kincaid of Macon, MO, brother Ian Ray Kincaid of Edina, MO, sister Dori (Reid) Beaty of Quincy, IL, brother Fisher Bramer of Quincy, IL, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who miss him deeply. Though our hearts ache with his absence, we rejoice in the hope and promise of eternal life.
John was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather John Raymond (Hub) Kincaid, maternal grandfather Melvin Ray Rimer, maternal grandmother Carolyn Sue (Baker) and Gene Lewis, paternal great grandparents Lester and Louis Kincaid, Granny Margaret and Harold and Irene DeSpain, and maternal great grandparents Ray and Mary Rimer and James and Lizzy Baker.
A celebration of John's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Visitation will precede the service from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Park View Memorial Gardens, Kirksville, MO.
