Pete served his country in the United States Army on the pistol team during the Korean War.
Pete was a patternmaker for over 55 years, and ultimately the owner of Quincy Pattern Machine. In retirement, he and his wife spent 23 winters in Florida. Additionally, he volunteered for Blessing Hospital and the Literacy Program at John Wood Community College.
Pete was an avid fisherman and hunter, and spent countless hours on the Mississippi River. For many years, he fished with buddies during their annual Canada trip. He was a racer of boats, a flyer of planes, a lover of cars, and a rider of motorcycles.
Pete was often heard saying that the best part of his life began when he started a family with his soul mate, Mary Jane, and devoted his life to them. If you were lucky enough to really know Pete, you knew he had a great sense of humor, and showed kindness and dedication for the things he cared about.
The family would like to thank the staff of Camp Aston at Lester Hammond Hall for the wonderful care Pete received.
