Judy Kivett, age 84, of Quincy, died on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Quincy Healthcare and Senior Living.
She was born July 20, 1938, in Hollywood, CA, the daughter of Lewis and Edith Prouty. She married Keigan M. Kivett on October 28, 1967, in Lone Pine, CA and he preceded her in death on October 23, 2020.
She is survived by one daughter, Christine (Billy) Kivett-Smith of Quincy; six grandchildren, MacKenzie Smith and Caleb Smith, both of Quincy, Corryn Kivett of San Diego, CA, Keigan Kivett of Liberty, Billy Joe Smith and James Smith, both of Hannibal; one sister, Ann Prouty Massery of OK; a niece, Sara Maruna; a nephew, Joshua Hite; and numerous great-grandchildren. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Keigan Mark Kivett; and a grandson, Nathan Smith.
Mrs. Kivett was a 1956 graduate of Independence High School (CA) and was employed by Bank of America in Hollywood, CA, Lone Pine, CA and lastly in Bishop, CA, where she retired as a operations officer following a 42-year career. Judy had a love for family, especially her grandchildren. She and Keigan relocated to Maywood, MO in 1999 to be closer to her family. She enjoyed traveling and assisting her daughter with the children at Lady Bug Daycare.
Cremation will be accorded. No formal services are planned at this time. Arrangements are in care of the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.
