Julie was born September 11, 1970, in Pittsfield, IL to Robert Dean and Roseland (Newman) Jones.
She was married to Albert J. Milakeve Jr. on November 15, 1997 in Conshohocken, PA. He survives.
In addition to her husband, other survivors include her father, Robert; one daughter, Emily Rose Milakeve; one brother, Ronald Jones of Plainville, IL; and one sister, Vicky Chadwick (Michael) of Pittsburgh, PA.
Julie was preceded in death by her mother, Roseland, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Julie graduated from Payson Seymour High School in 1989. She went on to be a live-in nanny and homemaker.
Julie loved farming and all things agricultural. She enjoyed having a stand with a variety of produce at the farmer's market and earned the nickname "Gourd Lady" for the crafts she would also sell there where she shaped gourds into animals and other objects. Julie delighted in canning and making various jellies and jams from her produce. One of Julie's favorite places to be was in the kitchen, whether that be canning, baking, or making some of her famous lasagna or meatloaf. Most of all, Julie loved her family, including her three cats, Twinky, Missy, and Lucky.
Memorial contributions may be made to Albert Milakeve Jr. to help pay for Julie's grave plot and stone.
