Mr. Kenneth E. Mellon, Sr., 65, of Barry, IL, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, MO.
He was born September 27, 1956, to Robert E. "Lou" & Alice (Taylor) Mellon. They preceded him in death.
He married Teena R. Hoover on December 3, 1977, in Palmyra, MO. She survives in Barry, IL.
In addition to his wife Teena, he is also survived by 1 son Kenneth E. Mellon, Jr. & wife Mandy, of Barry, IL, 2 grandchildren, Chloe Mellon and Gaven Mellon, both of Barry, IL, and several nieces & nephews.
Kenny loved to hunt and fish. He farmed his folks farm all of his life. He loved doing things with his family and was always ready to help out a neighbor.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2022, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2022, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.
Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry.
