Leo's passion for his work was matched only by his love for his community and the relationships he built over the years.
Beyond his professional life, Leo was a man of diverse interests and passions. His faith was a cornerstone of his life; as a devout Catholic, he prayed daily and lived his beliefs through his actions.
Leo's social nature was legendary; he was a fixture in the community, known for his warm conversations and genuine interest in others. His weekly 6 AM coffee gatherings with friends Dennis and Jim at The Coach House were a testament to his love for camaraderie. Leo's presence was also felt in Kinderhook, where he maintained strong ties with his Pike County friends. Whether ensuring his lawn was meticulous or enjoying the classic tunes of the 70s and 80s, Leo embraced life with zest.
Above all, Leo was a man who embodied generosity and kindness. His willingness to help others was unmatched, and he was always there to support family, friends, and even strangers. His incredible memory, giving spirit, and friendly demeanor will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
