A 1972 graduate of Quincy High School, Linda earned her bachelor's of science in nursing degree from Millikin University in 1976. Linda had been employed as an R.N. and in hospital administration at Decatur Memorial Hospital and St. Mary Hospital in Decatur until moving back to Quincy in 2007 where she has worked as a clinical research coordinator/data analyst at Blessing Hospital.

Linda was a dear friend of my mom, Sharon Wilson. I will never forget the time we had with Linda - including the time she lived with us. She was always smiling and laughing. She was a bright person and always willing to help others. She was a wonderful person who will be greatly missed on this earth, but I know that she and my mother have been reunited in heaven and are picking right up where they left off.

When I read Linda's obituary, I already knew many of the family members by name. Having worked with Linda for several years in Decatur, I had heard countless stories of her family. Particularly visits with Connie, David and his children, and her father, oh so many about her father. She loved them all.

Linda was a talented, perceptive and intelligent woman. Her quirky personality allowed her to laugh often and enjoy the quirkiness in others.

Linda was a joy to work with and will be missed by all who knew her.

Linda was such a beautiful soul. I remember visiting her in Quincy when she was married to Randy. She had had surgery, but was still busy at home, singing around the house as she worked. She had a sweet loving spirit that our whole family missed, and will still miss. Linda, you were loved and appreciated for all you were and did. Prayers and condolences to her family.
