United States Army, Sgt, Retired, Michael Lee Warning, 55, beloved husband of Mrs. Cheryl Lucas Warning, of Aiken, SC, entered into rest on September 12, 2022, at his home. He was preceded in death by a son, William Curtis Harvell.
The family will greet friends on Tuesday September 20th, 2022, from 12. p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, Sc 29829. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 2 o'clock, Tuesday, September 20, 2022, in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be at 11 o'clock Wednesday, September 21, 2022, in the Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia SC 29229.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Cheryl Lucas Warning, of Aiken, SC; his father, Roger Warning (Pam), of Liberty, Illinois; his mother, Janice Hoschar Decker (Rick), of Lorraine, Illinois; his children: Kaylor Marie Skipper, Kevin Lee Warning, both of North Augusta, SC, Keisha Elaine Warning, of Wagner, SC, Kasey Rodriguez-Perez (Agenor), of Aiken, SC, Leilani Meshell of Florida, and Nicole Crosby of Georgia, his sister and brother, Jodie Elizabeth Hahn (Jamie) and Matthew John Warning, of Liberty, Illinois; and twelve grandchildren: Serenity Gunter, Jaylen Frazier, Elijah Lee Warning, Michael Shealey, Ileana Gomez, Javier Warning, William Lee Warning, Christopher Staley, Jared Jones and Brianna Jones, Danielle Crosby and Nicolas Crosby. Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Michael was born on July 15, 1967, in Quincy, Illinois. He graduated from Liberty High School in Liberty, IL. He proudly and with honor served his country in the United States Army retiring with nine years of service having served in Panama and South Korea. He was a member of Oakview Baptist Church, Batesburg, SC. Michael loved sports, NASCAR and football, especially the Dallas Cowboys.
