Michael Wirth Obituary
Michael G. Wirth, age 69, of Quincy, died Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 9:13 am in Blessing Hospital.
Michael was born October 15, 1952 in Saint Louis, MO the son of William and Elnora Harris Wirth. He married Jackie Coons on August 15, 1999 in Quincy. She survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: his son Michael (Kristal Kanik) Wirth of Kansas City, MO; his daughter, Melissa (Bethany) Wirth of Westerly, RI; his stepson, James (Sena) Coons of Quincy, IL; five grandchildren: Samantha Wirth, Madison Wirth, Allison Wirth, Blake Coons, and Chase Coons; and one brother, John (Bonnie) Wirth, along with many nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by three sisters: Tessi Jamison, Billie Gregson, and Mary Merzweiler; and one brother, Joseph Wirth.
Graveside Services: 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Greenmount Cemetery with Rev. Steve Disseler officiating.
Burial: Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, IL, with full military honors provided by American Legion Post 37 and the United States Navy Funeral Honors Detail
Visitation: there will be no visitation
