Pauline Green Obituary
Pauline Green. 94, of Augusta, IL died at 7:57 pm Sunday June 6, 2021 at the Golden Good Shepherd Home in Golden, IL.
She was born on May 15, 1927 in Camden, I L to Jacob and Evea Hare Rang Jr. She married John C. Green on July 21, 1949. He preceded her in death on October 8, 1987.
Pauline was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Augusta High School and attended Western Illinois Teachers College in Macomb, IL.. She was of the Methodist Faith. She enjoyed collecting antiques, especially dolls.
She is survived by a brother, Morris (Roberta) Rang of Augusta, IL, a nephew, Morris (Theresa) Rang II of Augusta, IL, 2 great-nieces, 1 great-nephew, 1 great-great-niece, 1 great-great nephew and a cousin, Norman Hare.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday June 9, 2021 at Woodlawn cemetery in Augusta, IL with Pastors Patsy and Jerry Spratt officiating. There will be no formal visitation but friends may sign the register book after 9:00 am Wednesday until the time of service at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL.. Memorials may be made to Blessing Hospice.
The Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL is handling arrangements.

My mother Joan Reeves will miss her visits on the phone with Pauline. Joan felt bad about not going to Pauline's
service, yet she does not get around very well herself. She called me to let me know how she was thinking of her. I believe they both gave each other some comfort knowing they were close to the same age and knew some of the same people around the community. When mom had her 90th birthday party and so much food to share we took Pauline some food. She was invited to go to the party, yet felt most safe at home. She told mom she especially loved the homemade apple pie and didn't need to cook Sincerest sympathy to Pauline's family!
